To be honest, having a Toastmaster is not something we had even considered having at our Wedding and wasn't something we thought we needed or were even clued up on. As it so happened, a Toastmaster was included in our Wedding package with our venue and WOW, were we glad it was.

Ian was AMAZING and we cannot thank him enough for everything he did. From start to finish, Ian was fantastic, so kind, considerate and so so helpful. We got married on 11th June 2022 after having to postpone it twice due to covid, so we never actually got to speak to Ian until a few weeks before the wedding. Our venue had changed hands so many times and we had so many different wedding planners that we were not at all confident in how our day was going to go.... Until we spoke to Ian... from the minute we got off our first call with him there was an immediate weight lifted and so much confidence restored in how the day was going to go from start to finish. That was all Ian's doing.. From telling us where we need to be, timings, sorting guests, sorting photos and who needed to be where, to the lovely lovely speech Ian did at the end.

Ian, we cannot express how eternally grateful we are to you for everything you did for us on our special day. You really did make the day wonderful and run so smoothly. I cannot recommend you enough. If anyone reads this review.. you NEED Ian for your day. Ian... thank you thank you thank you.

Working in hospitality myself, my biggest fear was switching into autopilot and running my own wedding, so I decided to book Ian as our master of ceremonies .. the best thing I ever did. To be honest, I was sceptical whether or not a Master of Ceremonies/Toastmaster was absolutely necessary for our wedding. As soon as we had met Ian Ellis, we knew we'd made the right choice and picked the right man for the job. An absolute professional, who not only gave us peace of mind that someone was overseeing everything at the reception, he kept all the guest informed of exactly what was going on and where. The introductions for the welcoming line and the toasts were something special, and our wedding day would not have been the same without him. He changed what could have just been a run of the mill wedding reception into an event. It was great to have you there to ensure that the wedding ran exactly as it should and that people were where they needed to be at the right time. (This definitely meant that we didn't have to worry about rounding people up)! It was also great that you supported our photographer in getting the group shots that we wanted to in the most efficient way possible for our guests.

Ian was the toastmaster at our wedding at Ashridge House last weekend and we were absolutely thrilled with not only the service he provided but his advice and support both before and during the wedding and for being such an important part of our day.
