Hilton Cambridge Belfry Toastmaster

A welcome return to the lovely DoubleTree by Hilton Cambridge Belfry, and honoured to be Claire & Rob’s Toastmaster on their special Wedding Day.
We avoided the rain and managed to get all of the photos taken, and great to be working alongside Lindsey from ShutterBox Photography and Jen from Hayden’s Photography.
Following the Wedding Breakfast for nearly 90 guests, there were three excellent speeches from the top table, and good to be again working alongside the excellent team here at the Cambridge Belfry.
Many congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Marlow 😀!

Ladies’ Festival Toastmaster – Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa

The second Masonic Ladies’ Night of 2019 has brought me to a new venue, the really lovely Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa. Tonight I have had the real pleasure of providing my Toastmaster service for John Carpenter Lodge’s Ladies’ Festival.

A really tasty Banquet was followed by four wonderful speeches, and I once again was honoured to sing the Ladies Song. Earlier I announced all of the guests to the President & his Lady during the Receiving Line, as well as announcing a number of Wine Takings. I finished my duties by drawing the Raffle and introducing the First Dance.

A great Banqueting team at the Sir Christopher Wren, and a real pleasure to work alongside you.

Thank you for inviting me to be Your Toastmaster and many congratulations to the President & his Lady, Adrian & Chat.

Wedding Toastmaster – DoubleTree by Hilton Cambridge Belfry

First Toastmaster Wedding of 2019 last Sunday😁! The sun was out, the sky was blue (although a little blowy), and Your Toastmaster was back at the lovely DoubleTree by Hilton Cambridge Belfry to look after our Bride & Bridegroom, Lauren & Michael, and their family and friends! And a pleasure to be working alongside the very talented Steve Mulvey Photography.
A lovely ceremony and day, thank you for inviting me to play a small part in your very special day. Many congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Pook!

Ashridge House Civil Ceremony Toastmaster

Today I had the absolute pleasure of being Joanna & Andy’s Toastmaster at the beautiful setting of Ashridge House.

A wonderful civil ceremony was followed by a lovely blessing in the chapel. 93 of their family and friends then enjoyed an excellent Wedding Breakfast which included a short history of the venue delivered by the lovely Hannah, their Wedding Co-ordinator.
Thank you for inviting me to play a small part in your special Wedding Day, and many congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Hetherington 😀!

Busy week meeting wonderful couples!

Three Pre-Wedding meetings this week, with three wonderful couples. I look forward to playing a small part in your wonderful wedding days very soon!

The venues were the Royal Chace in Enfield, the Mercure Letchworth Hall, and the fabulous Cambridge Belfry

Pre-wedding meetings are a great chance for me to meet with the couple and find out exactly what they are looking for with my services. I can get a good understanding of the role they would like me to play, but also get the opportunity to explain the huge variety of tasks that they could get me to undertake. Basically I can take on the role of the wedding co-ordinator on the day and ensure that all aspects of the day run perfectly according to your schedule.

Today I have had the absolute pleasure to be Ceri & Tom’s Toastmaster on their very special Wedding Day!
Nearly 90 guests celebrating this lovely couple’s very special day, and great to work alongside Laura and her team at Shendish Manor.
Many congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Potter! — at Shendish Manor Hotel & Golf Course.

These lovely words from the groom, Tom, “Thank you so much Ian for make mine and Ceri’s day so special. I can’t recommend Ian enough for anybody’s wedding coming up!! He kept the day running to pin-point accuracy as well as being super super nice to all of our guests. Thank you thank you thank you.”
